Over 2500 television advertisements were crafted in the period 1989 to 2015. With a network of offices established in every continent around the globe.
The company created a range of unique advertising platforms, empowering consumers to make informed purchase decisions. People of all culture’s responded to the simple clarity of product explanations, delivered via a consistent, and authentically branded third party format.
BRAND POWER, MEDIFACTS, and ZOOT REVIEW, amongst others, became household names in many countries; including United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, South Africa, India, Malaysia - and more.
Global packaged goods manufacturer's such as Nestle, Colgate Palmolive, Proctor and Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline and other leading marketers, regularly participated in the effective program.
Broadcasting advertisements from every major television network, across 37 countries - reaching an estimated 2 billion viewers.
Brands enjoyed a strengthened relationship with consumers, by communicating rational, educational, and useful product information, with the endorsement of a credible third party voice - with out impacting brand image.
Return on investment was measurable, and could be forecast; based on viewers pre-conditioned expectations from the positive familiarity of a trusted brand franchise. Retailer sales data demonstrated the advertisement’s persistently increased market share.
From humble beginnings, the company challenged a ‘cosy’ media industry that initially lambasted the idea; to becoming a regular component of many leading global companies marketing plans. During this time, Buchanan Group also produced branded content television shows, short form video interstitials, and digital extensions.
In the latter stages, the company successfully transitioned a shift from linear television, to connected media; with the global consumer review platform HOME TESTER CLUB. In 2015 WPP’s Australian listed entity completed an 100% acquisition of Buchanan Group.
